gPTY is a desktop workspace application built with Rust and Godot that provides a tiling grid interface for managing multiple panes (terminals, code viewers, file trees, wikis, and media). It includes a concept capture engine and offers JSON-RPC/MCP control surfaces that allow AI agents and automation tools to spawn panes, inject text, and observe terminal output without terminal scraping. The application supports shell commands, scripts, and agent-driven operations through a unified public API.
