Designed for developers and enterprise users, Open Voice Trust Mark establishes tangible steps to legal and ethical risk mitigation. Grounded in a study of extant AI ethics literature, regulations and guidelines, its areas of work include privacy, security, voice synthesis, and ethical requirements for interoperability. The initiative has also launched an online educational course via EdX and an organizational self-assessment tool. The Open Voice Interoperability Initiative is an incubation-stage project of the LF AI & Data Foundation, contributed in October 2023.
